The product side of Circles Co.
Circles Co is a design and software studio in Amarillo, Texas. For twenty years it has designed and built for clients, and it runs Circles Conference. Circles Co Tech is the part that designs, builds and runs software of its own.
scroll ↓Twenty years of client work taught us what a product needs after launch: someone to answer, servers that stay up, and a next version. So we started building products of our own, and we kept the keys. Five are live today and Studio is in its founding beta. The people who designed them still answer the support email.
How we work
four parts, in this order

Design
Brand, product and interface, in that order. We decide what the thing is before we decide how it looks, then design the screens people will use every day, not the ones that demo well.

Build
Laravel, WordPress, iOS and Android. We write the code from the first migration to the app build, and keep each product small enough that one person can hold it in their head.

Run it ourselves
Our own servers, mail, backups and uptime, and our own support. When something breaks at 2 a.m. there is nobody to call but us, which is exactly why it gets fixed.

AI where it helps
Skye answers a website at night and captures the lead. A sentence becomes a drum loop in blüp. The software does the typing. People make the calls.

A launch is the start of the job. Support, updates and uptime are the product.

Prices sit on the page. Free where it is free, and a number where it is not.

Our servers, our mail, our backups. Nothing we sell runs on a machine we cannot log into.

Fewer tools, deeper ones.
One login that does the work of a dozen beats a dozen logins that each do a little.

People make the calls.
Software can draft, answer and remind. Deciding stays with a person.

Runs our own projects, time and invoices. The dashboard on this site is our workspace.

An internal console that keeps our sites, email and servers in line. Not for sale.
